My Story

As well as running a successful private practice, I also manage a private centre for talking therapies (Clinical Psychology, Psychotherapy, and Counselling) which has aided my insight into the impact and resolution of trauma.

Combined with the relevant qualifications, and my understanding of cognitive, emotional, and behavioural processes, I have created numerous programs for coaching and human development which can lead to complete transformation.

My Psychological Coaching involves identifying obstacles and helping you to find the motivation to navigate through them. Unlike therapy which is past-focused, Psychological Coaching is future-focused.  It helps you to identify what’s going on in your mind, so you make the necessary changes required to achieve your goals. As a Psychological coach, I can help you recognise where you’re stuck and show you exactly what needs to change when you can’t see it yourself.

Depending on the needs and desires of the client, I might incorporate some Spiritual Coaching into the development program, also. This approach can help individuals discover who they are by supporting their journeys of inner discovery. Spiritual coaching embodies Sigmund Freud’s iceberg theory. Freud argued that the human mind is divided into three levels: the conscious, the subconscious, and the unconscious. In this context, consciousness is the tip of the iceberg — the part we can see. But the subconscious and unconscious are still uncovered. Similarly, the human mind has endless capabilities –– such as creativity, problem-solving, intuition, and more –– but we haven’t accessed most yet.

A significant aspect of my approach involves looking at an individual's emotional health. For example, most people believe that anxiety & depression are mental health issues - but they're not. They are primarily emotional regulation and response issues. How we manage our emotions and address the thoughts which drive them, are key to our overall wellbeing. Although this area tends to get majorly overlooked, my approach pays particular attention to raising a client's emotional intelligence.
